Frequently Asked Questions
Q: How do you inflate the bouncy castle when you have delivered it? Will I be able to put it down?
A: Our bouncy castles are inflated using electric fan blowers. They are simply plugged in to a suitable 13amp socket in your house or out building: we supply long extension leads max 25 meters with RCD protection with all castles . To deflate the castle, simply unplug the fan and it will slowly collapse (make sure nobody is using the castle at the time!).
**Please note some garages and out buildings do not hold enough power to operate the blowers and will trip the circuits we cannot be held responsible if this happens and suggest you take the power from a original source in the house
Q: How much space do I need for a bouncy castle?
A: The dimensions of our castles are shown in our gallery page, please also allow an additional 5 feet both back and front and at least 2 feet at the sides.
Q: What kind of access do you need when you deliver the castle?
A: The castles are wheeled in to position using a cart, so we will need a standard size gate of 3ft to get the castle into your garden or venue. If you have a lot of steps or a tight entrance way, please let us know so that we can assess the access. we can take some smaller units through the house providing its a straight run. ultimate inflatable accepts no responsibility for any damage that maybe caused to the hires property whilst getting a bouncy castle through your house
Q: Can the bouncy castles go indoors?
A: Yes the bouncy castles can go indoors but you must check the height of the ceiling before booking. The ceiling must be higher than the height of the castle booked. heights of all our castles are on our website. If we arrive to your venue and the bouncy castle don't fit you will still be charged even if the castle cannot be set up.
Q: Are you fully insured, if a child gets injured who's to blame?
A: We carry 5 million pounds worth of public liability cover, however as per our terms and conditions we cannot be held liable for any injuries caused whilst the castle is in your care. You are the sole person responsible for the castle and it's use and therefore should anything happen, you are liable for any claims made. Q: When the castle is delivered, do I have to set it up myself or do you do it?
A: The delivery person will completely set up the castle, give you a demonstration on how to use it safely and then leave it in your control. There are also safety instructions on the inflatable. When we turn up to collect the bouncy castle, we will also dismantle it.

A: We actually prefer to put the bouncy castle on a lawn area. For safety reasons we must hammer in securing pegs to hold the castle down during use. The castle will have a ground sheet placed under it so the grass will not come to any harm. The holes left over from the securing pegs will disappear after a few days.

A: Generally speaking, between 5 and 12 children at one time. This does depend on the size of the children and the bouncy castle you have hired and the height of the users.

A: Most of our Castles come with shower covers and all our extension leads are fully showerproof so showers won't stop play! in the event the weather forecast is bad we would cancel the hire due to health and safety concerns.
Q: What are the appropriate ages for bouncing?
A: We cover all ages. We are insured for children, teenagers and adults, so anybody can join in the fun.
Q: My garden slopes a bit - will that be OK?
A: Yes. A slight slope is not a problem. If the slope is more than a little, we may not be able to set up in that location. Your installer may request an alternate location so please have one in mind. The safety of the children is the most important consideration when selecting a setup area.
Q: Does it need electricity? How much does it use?
A: Yes. We will bring a 25 meter extension cord with us, so you'll need an outlet near the set-up area. The blower runs continuously and uses approximately £0.18 of electricity per hour. NOTE: All blowers and wiring are safety checked before delivery.
